This is a workshop teaching and exploring the fundamentals of coaching and how to coach others to change. This workshop focuses on four integral principles of coaching in the workplace, along with ensuring experiential learning for participants.  

 

Outcomes:

On completion of this programme, participants will be able to:

  • Identify appropriate tools for use in the application of a coaching session.
  • Identify the coachees communication style, use of language and perspectives on the subject matter. 
  • Identify their own communication style and behaviours and adjust them to benefit the coaching session.
  • Flex their own language to encourage and reach agreements and get coachee buy-in.
  • Comfortably handle objections that may arise through the coaching process.
  • Competently structure and prepare for a coaching session.
  • Set agreed outcomes with the coachee. 
  • Competently implement and evaluate a coaching session.
  • Identify and recommend tasks for post coaching follow-up.

 

Who should attend?

This 2-day workshop is for new leaders, second in charge, people responsible for coaching and leading others through change, or for leaders, managers and trainers who've not received formal training on coaching.
