Transforming Communication - Leadership

Transforming Communication through Leadership

Your leading edge professional and personal skills programme.

Most people in roles want their plans and ideas to work out well, and know that efforts are fruitful in generating tangible or meaningful results. When working in the business of ‘people’ we are in discussions frequently with service providers, colleagues, staff members, clients, consultants and customers. All of these interactions having successful outcomes with ease or difficulty is largely influenced by how effectively communication occurs. This Transforming Communication seminar is for people who work with other people; and teaches tools, communication models and concepts to achieving practical and talented communication with others.

Book: Transforming Communication - Leading edge professional and personal skills. Second edition. Author Dr Richard Bolstad.

The Transforming Communication seminar was developed by Dr Richard Bolstad and Margot Hamblett, and is based on the book of the same name. The course is taught in New Zealand and internationally by certified Transforming Communication instructors.

"Communication does not depend on syntax, eloquence, rhetoric or articulation
but on the emotional context in which the message is being heard. People can only
hear you when they are moving toward you, and they are not likely to when your
words are pursuing them. Even the choicest words lose their power when they are
used to overpower. Attitudes are the real figures of speech."
Edwin H. Friedman
